Policy

All bookings require a non refundable $500 deposit. 

 

  • Cancellation fees vary based on the time of cancellation. 

  • Cancellations made prior to 90 days of travel are fully refundable. 

  • Cancellations made prior to 60 days of travel are eligible for a refund of 50% of payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit. 

  • Cancellations made prior to 30 days of travel are eligible for a refund of 25% of payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit. 

  • Cancellations less than 30 days before travel are eligible for a 10% refund of payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit. 

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before travel are  not eligible for a refund. 

  • Deposits are transferable to a future travel itinerary with SANKOFA US.

In response to COVID -19, SANKOFA US is committed to being as fair and accommodating as possible when cancellations are unavoidable. Nevertheless, due to the fluid and rapidly changing nature of the travel industry, some circumstances beyond our control may affect your travel plans. To this end, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance. SANKOFA US is neither a travel insurance broker nor is it an agent of any insurance corporation. We do, however, recommend Allianz Travel Insurance as a means of protecting you trip.
